scrubs is a crappier version of grey's anatomy; (i'm sure grey's fans would agree with me) but scrubs definitely cannot do without its heartwarming parts - just like episode 4 of season 1. it actually made me teared cos' all 3 resident doctors - j.d., elliot and turk had to face with deaths of their patients they so loved.
but you know what's the problem? the problem with US healthcare is the health insurance. the golden key? the insurance card. no insurance card, no service. unless u are really old or, having your limbs and head all busted and bleeding. then that would be outside the ethical boundaries of the doctors to deny help.
j.d.: "so only people with money deserve medical treatment?"
dr. cox: "damn it, it's about what's best for the hospital!"
j.d.: "no, it's about what's best for the patient!"
and there the moral dilemmas go on in the show, albeit with crass humor.
thank you baby bee for recommending me this! (:
